Cambodia claims it has applied the principles of human rights than in the region

Cambodian officials claimed that it had ratified the Covenant and the Convention on the Rights to the recommendation of the United Nations, more than comparedcountries in the region.

Chairman of the Commission on Human Rights, Mr. Mak claim such property in a national workshop organized by the Committee for Human Rights and the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner in charge Human Rights in Cambodia (OHCHR) on the promotion and monitoring the implementation of recommendations from the universal time (UPR) of the United Nations on Human Rights.

Mak said property among more than 40 recommendations on human rights followed except Recommendation 4 points only denied protecting the independent media, in particular through the cancellation of Article 305 of the Penal Code and Article 13 of the Law on the Press.
